Gerstungen siding

LGM is also responsible for the management of the Group's sidings, including the Hasselmann GmbH siding in Gerstungen. It is conveniently located in the immediate vicinity of the BAB 4 and the B 400 and is easily accessible via a paved loading road. This infrastructure is available to all rail transport companies licensed in Germany.

Low-floor high-caliber

The use of low-floor wagons, also known as "RoMo wagons", is gaining new applications in the construction and maintenance of railroad infrastructure. Thanks to a special design, they can transport concrete mixers, concrete pumps, rinsing wagons or work platforms on track systems without exceeding the specified vehicle circumference. This is particularly advantageous for track systems with overhead lines. Driving the road vehicle onto and off the RoMo wagon does not require any special access ramps and can be carried out at almost all single-track points for bidirectional vehicles. The load capacity of a RoMo wagon is 42 tons and several wagons can be combined into one unit.
